Senior Event Manager
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Leadership Develop and implement event strategies aligned with company objectives Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale events Provide leadership and mentorship to junior event staff Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Executive Leadership) Event Execution Oversee venue selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management Manage event timelines, logistics, production, and on-site operations Ensure exceptional attendee experience from planning through post-event follow-up Anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges Budget & Financial Management Develop and manage event budgets Track expenses and ensure cost efficiency Negotiate contracts to maximize ROI Stakeholder & Client Management Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners Maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and sponsors Present event proposals, plans, and post-event reports to senior leadership Marketing & Promotion Support Partner with marketing teams on promotional strategies Support event branding, communications, and digital campaigns Analyze event performance metrics and prepare post-event evaluations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field 5+ years of experience in event management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role Proven experience managing large-scale corporate events Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills Experience with international events Vendor and sponsorship negotiation expertise Strong leadership and team development experience Data-driven approach to measuring event success
